Is there such an add on for Garmins for Ireland?

Someone was saying that they have this for some other countries.

Not available for Ireland yet but on the way - probably available during 2009

Use other maps to create waypoints, tracks and routes and upload these to you GPS

Google Earth, Trail Master, Scanned Paper Maps in Fugawi software or just the basic paper map. Some of these require manual handling of Lat/Long geographic coordinates and/or Irish Grid or ITM grid coordinates.

Just be warey of Google Earth as Satellite imagery can be shifted 20-30 meters east/west for Ireland.
