Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

DH and I are hoping to get tickets for Bruce Springsteen in the RDS. (for sale Friday, fingers crossed they wont sell too fast!) Looking for somewhere to stay on the Saturday Night (July 11th).
We were thinking somewhere either in the city centre itself on the Ballsbridge side or in one of the hotels near the RDS itself. The concert will be over by 10:30 so maybe somewhere with a nice bar? We dont get out too often these days now we have baby so want somewhere nice and amazing 3* or 4+* wont be just looking for a bed for the night IYKWIM.;)
Any ideas on where to stay greatly appreciated, want to book soon while rooms are avalible.

Also have ACDC tickets for Lepardstown. Will need to book a hotel nearby also, or can get the bus to Dublin adn stay there which would be better???

Sorry if i hve posted in the wrong place:confused:

For the Boss there are hotels in Ballsbridge but they might be full.

When I was up for the last concert we stayed in city centre so we could go out after the gig. It's easy to get in to the centre from the concert so you might want to consider that option.

Hi OP - if you are going to be in Leopardstown, the Beacon Hotel in Sandyford is really swish :)

    Hi OP

Whenever I`m in Dublin I use Bewleys in Ballsbridge if that`s any use to you.

I agree with Bewlwys - very close to the RDS. The Four Seasons is close too but might be very expensive.

Last time i went to a concert there i stayed in the D4 hotel as mentioned above - its really nice and was pretty cheap (99 euro per night). It has a good bar too.
