Hey, I want to get rid of my profile here on boards.ie for personal reasons is there any way of doing so? I can't see anywhere on my profile giving my the option to do so. Any help would be appreciated. ;)

Profiles don't get deleted and neither do the posts made by a user/profile - it has the potential to shred too many threads and take away any sense that might be in the threads (it's actually mentioned in the signup terms and conditions as well for what it's worth).

If you just want to leave boards and never come back, the easiest way is to just log off and not come back.

If you want to fix it so that you can't, I'd suggest changing your email address in the user settings to something that isn't an email address you actually use and change your password to random gobbledygook so you can't log back in even if you wanted to.
