    I can never understand why people pick names they hate. OK, if it was done in a hurry I can see how you might do that, but in general I would have thought that most people would have given it some thought before choosing a name. Anyway, I like mine, been using it for years on various sites and it's less of a mouthful than Zaphod Beeblebrox.

    I picked my name from a book I was reading just when I joined. I don't like it too much anymore because it makes me look like either a vampire or a ghey. Oh well

    It's not that you hate it at the time, just that you grow to dislike it.

    Also a lot of the time, you reg quickly to post something, get hooked and all of sudden you're 3 years down the line with a name you don't like. :)

    Funnily enough it does come from that. I broke my collarbone when I was 11 and the bandaging and bracing applied during setting (about 2 weeks) gave the appearance of a hunchback so thats where it originated.
