Just noticed a break in the clouds over Greenhills D12, can see the stars now :( Time to put the kettle on I think.

I do think some area in the east will have 20cms, however the nature of these heavy showers is that the snow will not be evenly distributed!

Yep DM, debating about whether to go to bed now and wake up at 4am or what! Its a tough one!

Few light flurries here in Wexford an hour or so ago & snow grains settling on roof of car but skies are clearing now, and temp is definitely dropping....... :)

Whats going on now is really the dreggs of the flurries that were over England this morning pepped up a little bit over the irish sea.
Ignore it really as the real fun and games should begin as WC said sometime after 4am or so up your way and into Dublin.

I'll say nothing 'bout down my way as I've already jinxed it.

Could be another anaprop, i.e, false radar reflection. There's been a few near Dublin today.

Thanks BB, I'm just gonna go to bed at 1am and hope for a whiteout in the morning!

Sure, you can't have jinxed it for yourself, not yet anyways! Don't write it off just yet!

You have had your cold front:P Coastal counties are now certain for disruption in the morning if these showers get going and they will 2 AM onward.
