    Snow on cars, roofs and grass; roads clear. Temperature rising - now 0.7! Most of the heavier precipitation seems to be heading south of dublin towards Wicklow and Wexford http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/uk/radar/index.html.

    Tonight

    More widespread and heavier snow likely across Leinster and east Munster tonight. Lowest temperatures of -2 to 2C.


    Tomorrow

    Further snow in the eastern half of the country tomorrow, with strong easterly winds

    You've got all day and all night to go yet - don't loose heart. The Eagle was just on the radio saying that he expects snow showers to become more widespread today with more general snow tonight.

    Cant see any snow here for a number of hours anyway, with that line of covergence to my south and the other line setting up to my north.

    Going to be a painful few hours.

    very dissapointing here, only a tiny bit of hail/snow fell during the night, looks to be not much more than a hard frost.

    im hoping things improve later on

    Any chance of a mini 6hr forecast for Waterford Weathercheck? The kids in school will be crazy asking me will it snow.

    Very windy and a good covering of snow. Cars are covered in snow and the roads a fairly bad. Damn not looking forward to the journey to work and back home ..

    Anyone know if its going to be bad around the rathdrum laragh area this afternoon/this evening.
