    Like a feckin' kid here. :D My 6 year old boy has never seen proper snow, we're just heading out to play in it. Think I'm more excited than he is!

    Decent amount here now, couple of inches since around 4.30pm or so.

    not sure how met eireann seem to think the snow will spead countrywide...seems to be an east coast event only. looks like we in cork will only get a flurry :(

    Naas was under a blanket this morning. Never really thawed. Heavy snow falling for the last hour on top of it, so its pretty thick!

    I am beside Dublin Castle and I have not seen Dublin City centre like this in years! some serious amount of snow falling and sticking. cars are covered in the white stuff and no sign of it letting up!

    a most excellent radio forecast just now. well, apart from a brief interruption tomorrow where the showers will turn to rain at lower level, but she still said snow was risk in some places and on high ground.

    then there will be snow showers on and off up until friday and the best bit, wait for it, is the west and north will be the favoured areas:D

    Dry here now for the moment. Thawing of any lying snow is starting and the increasing hail in the showers suggests things becoming very marginal now.

    Hadn't looked out in a while..can't believe it's still at it!

    Lovely, lovely find powdery stuff falling now.

    Lots of kids are out having a blast.

    edit - also, news is very rampy for tonight..little mention of the possibility of rain/sleet except for a time tomorrow perhaps.
