Pretty heavy again in Lusk... terrible to think it could all turn to rain later.

Just drove home from Rathcoole to Naas (N7) and OMG!! Blizzard conditions. Still snowing here in Naas with a nice inch or 3 on the ground. Roads very dodgy if your heading this direction.

I'd guess at least 60% hail in that last shower but it was a heavy one - dogs are going insane out in the yard - even seems to bring out their playful side (not that that takes much)!

Has just started snowing again here now and it's small. Hope it doesn't mess with what's already on the ground.

Snowing away again here!! :D Moderate shower, must be close to 3" or so now!!

Seriously, this is the best snowfall I've had since my childhood! All I've been used to is snowfall at night, a light covering by morning and melted by 12pm

Thanks Supercell and WeatherCheck for this cool snow event!! :pac:

0C and -1.9DP here in Waterford....now we just need the snow....c'mon baby! :pac:

Nothing here on the seafront in Bray, still the strong winds from the East.

    Kids are very dissappointed.

Will have to wait and see what the night will bring

Yeah I'm surprised myself! Most I have seen since 2001, long enough wait.

Gonna be a nerve wrecking night waiting for this system to come in. :pac:

Sorry about pic quality, but I don't want to GTFO :(

    D15.

East is directly to the left of the pic. I love how you can see the snow plastering up against the exposed parts of the trees etc. :)

BTW BBC weather there showed snow along the east coast all night then looked like it turned into a wintry mix for an hour or 2 before clearing.
