Can see this giving something inland alright.

Passes in heavy sheets of graupel/snow and then breaks for a few mins. So for here = wet mess. Inland could = Snow accumulating.

Does Cork have a good chance? I'm convinced we're gonna get some!:D

Was outside a few minutes ago and it seemed to be sleety rain, but looking out the window now it looks to be snow. I think Weathercheck is right, around coastal areas wont see much lying snow tonight

Apologies for not having all the tech equipment, but snow has stopped falling in Naas. Still feels very cold and no wind.

    Are we due more overnight?

Thanks Villian. Its arrived. Almost a whiteout. I wonder will Carlow have the record for most snowfall by the time all this is over?

i'll believe it when i see it...have a bad feeling about it reaching us!

I said that last night but woke up to about 3cm of it this morning and then got a pasting for about 40 mins tonight...snow still lying in my area (I am near Port Tunnel exit, Santry roundabout)

So you might be surprised....I was :)

Sadly it looks like the same for me. Hoping and praying it'll keep snowing through the night and I'll wake up to a few inches of snow :pac:

Proper snow in Government Buildings in town.

God i really got to move outta this snowless town.

It just seemingly is the worst place to be for snow!

Wet as anything here and windy with some heavy sleet/graupel/wet snow at times.

    Looks like thats curtains.

no bother leincar, grass is piling up well above my ankles

I can't help but feel this is the end of it for the coast :(

Precipitation in that big system is just way too light. everything will melt upon hitting the concrete. The heavier showers earlier were allowed to build up and stick somewhat.

Well it'd sure make a change, tis Carlow's turn now, all ye other feckers rob the snow every other year leaving us here in carlow with the sleet and rain! :D
