    Still some flakes out there.

I'd say a 1cm covering by dawn is a 20/1 shot at this stage.

But the fact there are still some flakes is positive :pac: Im getting desperate!

Still bone dry in Offaly :(

if by 3 am it's still dry in offaly. then gonzo and weathercheck are correct about the front weakening as it moves westwards. of course if it was coming from the atlantic there would be no chance of that happening:rolleyes:

Still snowing in Dublin 24 anyway. This makes me happy! I've got about a 4cm wall of snow over my attic bedroom window.

What, you're down the road. I see some sleet but that's about it. Wouldn't call it snow.

ok to me it looks like the precipiation band is starting to indensify slightly out in the irish sea, the echoes looks slighly deeper on the ukmo radar and the snow here itself has gone slightly heavier after just a misty effort till now.

If you have a choice then NO. Too easy to get hurt or wreck your vehicle.

Last wintery snap we had I came across two accidents on two mornings. Both on straight stretches, one with an overturned car.

If I had a choice then the answer is no, but I have to go out in such conditions because its part of my job:mad:
