No definately nothing going to settle here. It's very marginal - the light stuff is rain, the more moderate bursts are sleet and snow. The main activity has yet to hit us here.

    Big burst just now! :D

    Aaaaaannd then it died :pac:

Lasted all of about 20 seconds :pac:

Just been down by the coast. Massive waves and a very ominous sky out to sea.

Interesting what a mile or so and couple of feet of elevation can do. My wife is over in her parents house in Kilmacud and there is barely any snow left (just snowmen she said) - while here in Ballinteer/Rathfarnham, only a mile or so away, we still have 2 to 3 inches of snow (albeit melting) on grass, roofs, etc., slush on roads and pavements.

Moderate snow here btw. 1.4c DP -0.2c

    Snowing lightly again in Blanchardstown.

I need a bit of advice....I'm supposed to be in college tonight from 6 until 10 and then have to drive back to Dunshaughlin. I'm a bit worried about what the roads will be like at that stage and if we're likely to get much snowfall by then....what should I do please??!!

Just to chime in with another "more proper-ish snow' now..there's been precip here most of the day, but previously it was...wintry, but I'm not sure if you could say 'pure snow'. It was wintry enough to maintain accumulations..but..it was more like tiny frozen particles than snow flakes. These are more like nice flakes now.
