Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,

    I am putting together (as the title suggests) a Kildare Community News website.

    This is a non-profit website that will focus on events, organisations and public interest stories for Co. Kildare.

    I am looking for a presenter (or presenters) to join the project. As the website will contain mostly video content the applicants must obviously be comfortable in front of a camera and interviewing people.

    This is a non-profit voluntary project so this is a non-paying gig (to start) but a great opportunity for any journalism or media studies students out there to get some presenting experience and maybe provide some project material for their coursework.

    Please note: The applicants must live in the Newbridge, Naas, Kildare area.

    Previous experience is not essential as long as you are enthusiastic and I would prefer candidates 17 years or older. Your own transport is not essential as I can provide transport to and from news shoots.

    I already have all necessary camera and sound equipment so all you need is a positive attitude.
