Torres or Adebayor? He offers much more beside a lethal finisher.

Villa or Etoo? Imo the best finisher in the game at the present time.

Messi or Ronaldo? The best in the world right now and getting better and better, he has so much more to his game that Ronaldo, less goals but better team player. I have loads of goals up front.

Xavi or Fabregas? No question for me.

Rio or Carvalho? LOL. I'd have neither, but Carvalho, I've always thought and stiil do think that Rio was overrated (United have had an 8 consecutive clean sheets run when he was out before and 11 currently and he is not around), to be fair there is very little between them.

Casillas or Buffon? I'm a huge fan of Casillas and again the two best at the present time but disregarding that Iker is my fav. I'd pick him with the age gap.

Iniesta or Lampard? Lampard and Xavi, nice.

Evra or Clichy? Patrice Evra for me by a country mile, a challenger to Denis Irwin as best left back in the PL if he stays in it and plays there more over the remainder of his career.

Ok first of all I prefer Adebayor beacuse I think he will last the test of time whereas Torres will be the Patrick Kluivert of the future.

Messi is consistint all season but Ronaldo was lazy at the start. Somehow he is getting more into the game as we get closer to the summer :pac:

As someone who watches Adebayor week in week out I can tell you he hasn't stood the test of one season. His finishing is hugely erratic for an £80'000 pound a week striker. He's good, but he's not great.

It pains me to say it but last season was a fluke, he won't get anywhere near that amount of goals again.

Essien vs Masch is a bit unfair IMO. As mentioned one's a proper CM and the other is proper DM, both are top in their position for me though.

Vidic vs Carra. Carra has been consistent for years now at a high level. So my vote with a tinge of biased go towards him. Massive fan of Vidic, though he has got off scott free in a number of incidents this season he is an awesome CB and will be at heart of their defence for many years to come, sadly.

They scored the same amount of League goals last season. 24 each.
World player of the year is laughable really as it inciudes the lol international football. Ade plays for Togo, he is hardly going to get any recognition for his 34 goals in 38 games for them.
I competely disagree with your belief that Torres is a better dribbler. Ade is faster and better at beating players imo. He is also a better passer of the ball and is not nearly as greedy as Torres. I'd say that Torres is the better finisher.
