    First off, if this is already answered in another page - my apologies.

    As a matter of interest Enda, how do you set up an internet radio station/show? I mean the technology side of things?

    Other than cool edit is there any other software needed?

    You don't need Cooledit. Thats more for recording/editing.
    There are a heap of free or cheap music playout programs. Zara, Raduga, Otsdj to name just 3. Otsdj has its own built in audio processor and i think you can configure the others to use a plugin like sound solutions or MBL4 audio dsp. You need a mic also.
    Thats doing it on the cheap. If you have the cash, you could set up a proper studio with a mixing desk, separate audio processor etc.
    To stream your station, you could use Windows media encoder or the Winamp plugin, Shoutcast.
