    Hi folks,

Im planning to go to Australia in July for 3 weeks with my wife. We're wondering what we should try to take in for those 3 weeks? We want to see Sydney so the travel agent recommended going to Melbourne, Brisbane, Cairnes and Sydney.

Any advice or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

It's very hard to answer this, as you don't say what you are interested in and what type of activities you are looking for.

    Dining/drinking/wildlife/hiking/beaches/surfing/camping/extreme sports, etc.

in the space of three weeks it would be almost impossible to see all those places. also expensive as you'd need to fly to them all

as the other poster said, it really depends on what you're looking for. if you want to experience the big cities and great food/wine, then visit sydney and melbourne. if you're into sport, melbourne is the best place to be too.

if you're into fishing, outdoor type stuff, then places like cairns and darwin are good.
