OK, this is starting to piss me off, so it is time for a rant.
Zimbabwe is in the ****. It has a corrupt brutal dictator, whose wife withdraws tens of thousands of dollars from state funds to fund a shopping spree in Hong kong, whilst 60,000 people are suffering from cholera. There is little or no running water in Zimbabwe at the moment, farms have been taken off successful, efficient farmers that could produce food for tens of thousands and given over to a few farmers who only have experience of farming in a self sufficient manner. There is a huge food shortage in the bread basket of Africa.

Meanwhile, the UN is happy to allow the African Union to preside over the matter, the same African union that is full of the afore mentioned dictator’s mates. Nothing is happening and the rest of the world is tut tutting and doing nothing about it.

Britain is engaged in a war in Afghanistan that is unwinnable, certainly without a bit more “Skin in the Game” from fellow EU/Nato/UN allies, so why not pull out. The British Army could force a “Regime Change” in Zimbabwe a hell of a lot easier than was managed in Iraq or Afghanistan and would I suspect, have the full support of most of the rational world. This is on the assumption that none of the other ex colonial countries (who frankly need to share some of the blame for the situation Africa is in) don’t lend a helping hand.

What Zimbabwe needs at the moment is the UN to grow a pair, send out a clear message to Mugabe that he needs to step down with immediate effect, or the boys will be sent in and he will end up in the Hague.
    End rant.

Ideally, anyone internally who looks as if they might 'remove' Robert, should be given whatever they need, when they need it. And if a few more than Robert have to go to, then C'est la Guerre. Harsh, but entirely justifiable given the sheer inept and corrupt nature of the regime. It doesn't deserve use of the safety.
