    Hi
    thinking of doing this course at home, looking at this course online which is free;

    http://www.professormesser.com/

    has anyone used it, how long do you think i would need before sitting the exam? Do you think it looks feasible without doing a class room course which costs €1000 plus.

    Thanks

    I recently did the A+ exams and only used a book which I got through Amazon for about €20. It's the 'A+ for Dummies' book, but it's the larger version so it says something like 9-in-1 on the front. Really easy to use and plenty of practice tests. I tried using an online video guide but it took ages and was produced by a patronising American whose voice wound me up. HTH.

    From a quick look they seem good, when I did it, I did a course(Cost alot more then 1000 too but was funded)

    You are going to need to get a book or two anyway in my opinion, and some good practice exam software.

    If I had to start again I would use cbtnuggets and transcender, remember the 2 exams do cost abit so, if you do them and fail and have to repeat then it may cost you just as much!

    Also check out that A+ section of the TechExams site:
