Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Reception on 107.4 Mhz seems very poor in Dundalk. This is the frequency for the northeast isn't it? Moved house recently and its equally poor. Its non-existent on a radio with a telescopic FM antenna. OK on the car radio.

I know its available via satellite and internet but FM reception should be there as well surely? :(.

Newstalk only have a "quasi-national" license, so they don't cover the same areas as RTE, Today FM, etc.

Not 100% sure why...but here is some of the text from the BCI about the license Newstalk have:

"Applications are invited for the provision of a quasi-national sound broadcasting service which will have a strong emphasis on news/speech programming and target a 25+ audience. The service area will include a large part of the State but will not provide universal coverage."

I think the other commercial broadcasters were just trialling DAB, and those trials have now ended - I seem to remember someone saying that on another thread.
