Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I am moving into a New house & I want to be able to pick-up all the FM Radio stations provided by Chorus/ NTL through out the house, (without laying cables) . . . so I need a Mini FM Transmitter/ Broadcaster.

'In theory' I need to be able to plug an FM transmitter into the analogue TV/FM Coaxial wall socket and broadcat the FM signal throughout the house, therby receiving my beloved BBCs upstairs on my clock Radio!

But is such a thing possible? does such a transmitter exist for home use?

We are talking about Analogue FM signals here.

There are loads of wireless FM transmitters mainly for in car use, the approach I used was rather less pretty - cable to an attic sited distributor/amp with co-ax going through a hole in the ceiling in the corner!

I think this is what you need http://www.ioffer.com/i/50710901 (page loads a bit slowly)

Hmm, thanks Mike, so does that mean that all radios in my house will now pick up all the Radio Stations broadcast from the NTL socket/ Via the transmitter?

(just as if my Clock radio was fed via a Coaxial Cable)?

I've got two FM transmitters going 24/7 from this crowd http://www.edmdesign.com/orders.html works well and connected to satellite receivers wife has 1 and me the other, I listen to RTE,BBC,Newstalk and NPR she listens to Tv. Thus we are listening to what we like without driving eachother mad.

If you are going to feed a transmitter from the cable you need to have a FM tuner in line.

Feel free to ask me any questions and let us know how you get on.

We use Sony SRF-S84's as per link http://www.joesradiopage.com/srfs84.html great little radio running about 16 hours a day in wifes case.
