I am a young, reliable student Looking to share a horse in the dublin (south) area but can travel. Have Been riding For many years, on many kinds of horses and have done jumping, xcountry and hunts, but have taken frequent breaks from riding due to lack of time. I have participates in minor stable comps at a younger age and would like to advance my jumping skills to compete at a higher level. Hopefully I could find a horse that is a good jumper, that is good tempered and not too difficult to handle. I have loaned and shares horses before which have worked out very well so have experience with this type of set up. Pm me If my situation would suit yours or If you have any information. Many thanks, Naomi

    Hi,
I have a lovely 15.3 gelding to share in south dublin. He is mainly suitable for hacking, hunting, hunter trials and trips to the beach. I have a new younger horse so even someone who would just like to hack out with me once or twice a week would be perfect for small contribution to livery fees. Suitable for good novice if just to hack but would need slightly more advanced rider for hunter trials and hunting.

If interested please contact me :)

Hi. I'm a novice rider who has taken up riding again after 20 years. I've been riding sporadically for the last two years but, because of other commitments I haven't been free to do as much as I would like. I'll be completely freed up mid October and would love to build up experience and confidence by riding out with someone once or twice a week.
What area in South Dublin is your horse kept because I'm in West Dublin but very near the M50. Also, what are you thinking of in terms of livery contributions?

    Hi there,
I am a 19 year old college student living in Leixlip who is looking to part share a horse preferably in the Maynooth/Celbridge/Clane area, I would be willing to go as far as Kill. I have been riding for 11 years and have leased a connemara pony for 6 months and then a 16.2hh TB for another 6 months. Since I started college, riding seemed to take a bit of a back seat but I now want to get back to riding on a regular basis. I am a very competent rider and I have experience riding difficult horses however I am not looking for a big project. I can help bring your horse on in both flatwork and jumping and I would also be interested in doing a bit of cross country also. I am not necessarily looking to compete but I wouldn't rule it out. I have a part time job so I would be willing to pay €40/45 a week towards livery fees for 3-4 days of riding in return. I would be looking to ride during the week as I work weekends which may benefit anyone who doesn't have the time to get up to their horse during the week. I would be open to a trial period as I know how difficult it can be to find a good match for both horse and rider. I will ride anything between 15hh and 17hh. If you are looking or know someone who is looking to part share their horse please dont hesitate to message me.
    Thanks,
    Orla. :)

hi orla, just saw you post about you looking to part share a horse. I have a 16.2hh TB mare, she is so sweet and always tries her best. She's only 5 so she can get a bit strong at times as shes still a bit green, but she really has a great temperament. I am based in larragh outside maynooth. please pm me for more details and if you are interested or not.
    thank you

    Hi,
I am 23 and looking for a horse share in Maynooth area. I would prefer a horse that is not spooky, more like... relaxed and a bit lazy, complicated in handling is no problem. I have been riding since I am 9 and I don't necessarily need a jumper/dressage horse, I am not interested in competitions or anything.
Please send a Private Message if you are interested. :)
    Best regards

Hi, I'm looking for a horse to share in Cork, ideally close enough to the city.
I'm currently a poor broke college student so realistically could only afford 2 days share of full livery, but I've no problem with doing DIY livery.
Up until 3 years ago I was working full time with horses (teaching), and receiving training every day, however I've only ridden sporadically in the last 3 years. As a result of this I'm looking for something quietish, but also wouldn't mind something that is a bit of a project.
My main interest lies in flatwork, but the right horse could help me find my long lost love of jumping! :p

    Thanks!

I'm interested to know if anyone would like their horses/ponies schooled for free? I have my BHS Stage One, R&RS, Child Protection done. I currently work full time so would only be available evenings/weekends. I have a lot of experience with young stock, I used to break and train ponies and compete in IPS and SJAI, Eventing Ireland etc., experience with foxhunting and dressage. I used to teach full time in a stables at home but have not had time since I moved to Dublin to do as much as I'd like, plus it is very expensive. If anyone thinks that I might be what you are looking for, PM me! :)

Anyone have contact details for coco_lola or could pass on that I'm interested in contacting her about this? Long shot I know.

4yr old mare available for share in Cork. She has a relaxed nature and is an easy ride. She has a good jump and is currently learning to work on the bit. She has been out to 2 schooling days and a few group lessons but doesn't have a lot of mileage due to so many shows being cancelled this summer. She is well behaved when she's out though and doesn't get hot or excited. I have stables and an arena at home and would ideally like to find someone who would come ride her here (for free) but I would be willing to put her in livery if the sharer was willing to pay half the cost.

Fun easy going pony for share in Brittas Bay due to work commitments.

I have a pony for share in Brittas Bay, he is a stocky 12.3 Exmoor pony and is suitable for a small adult (I myself am 5ft6 and 9 stone) or a confident teenager. Not suitable for children.

Sand school, nice hacking along quiet country roads and 10 mins ride from beach.

Share would be 20 Euro a week for 3 week days riding plus the occasional weekend when I am away.

    Hi all,

I am an experienced rider of 20(gulp) years, thoroughbred/sport horse types. Have been away working professionally in the horse world and have come home and am not sure where things are so cannot commit to my own horse. If anyone needs horse's exercised in the South Dublin/Wicklow area, please get in touch and I'd be happy to help out. I have references from here or abroad if you need to know what kind of rider I am!

    Hi All,

Since moving to Dublin over a year ago, horses have kind of fallen to the wayside. I have ridden a few times over the last year when I go home, and I've decided to get back into it full time now. I just started taking a few lessons at Carrickmines, but ideally I'd like to do it a few times a week on a horse share/loan.

I used to break/train, compete in SJAI up to 1m, IPS, Dressage Ireland and Eventing Ireland. I also have experience in Hunter Trials and Hunting.

I'm looking for someone who would be willing to share/lease their horse. I'd ideally like to do some schooling, flatwork/showjumping/cross country on something slightly forward going that I can learn from too. I like to think I'm quite a strong rider (from being the guinea pig in my last yard), but I just need to brush up on a few things!

Ideally I'd like something South Dublin/Wicklow area (but can travel Northside for the right set up), and if anyone would like their horse/pony schooled for free, that would be right up my street as budgets are limited - this is negotiable. Available evenings/weekends, have my own car (can't pull a box though!). Happy to muck in around the yard too.

If there are lessons on offer nearby that I can sign up for that would be great too, as I'd like to compete eventually (not necessarily on this particular share, but on something!)

I'm light and not too tall, so can ride anything from a 14.2 to a 16.2 comfortably. Could even ride a 13.2 at a push if you need help with a pony as they used to be my specialty!

I also have references should you want them.

If you think I might be what you're looking for, drop me a PM and we can arrange something!

    Happy New Year everyone!

I am looking for a fun, kind, responsible and experienced rider to share either of my two gelding horses.

First horse is 6yrs old very sensible 16.1 irish halfbred cob. A real sweetie. I would love someone who is interested in hacking, schooling and doing local riding club events.

Second horse is 15yrs old but acts like a 6yr old! He is warmbloodxtb and forward going. He loves his jumping and loves to work. Not a novice ride, but safe.

I would need half of the livery and shoes to be paid in return for share.

They are stabled in Enniskerry North Wicklow/South Dublin.

Please Private message me to chat further. Thank you! Posted on 2nd January 2013

Just as a follow up to the above. My circumstances have now changed financially, and as a result I cannot afford to pay for a horse share. I would be happy to exercise horses or ponies for free a few times a week in the South Dublin/Wicklow area, as I have my own transport.

Let me know if you're looking for someone to school/exercise for free!

    Hi all,
I am looking for a sharer for my 16.2hh dark bay gelding. He is stabled in west cork. He is a genuine all rounder. He has won 1.10m SJAI classes and open hunter trials. He can be competed and I have transport available. He is forward going so not suitable for a novice. He would be ideal for riding club also. Small contribution to cost of livery required. He lives out in summer so less cost there. I would prefer an adult. Due to work commitments i have less time for him.
    Thanks for reading !!!

Needs to be out & about, cracking jump
NO BEGINNERS and parents must be experienced with horses.
Pony is too strong for my daughter to take out & compete at moment and she really is too good not to be out competing.
She is a typical Welshy & has her quirks but with the right rider will go very far.

    Hi,

Due to changing travel commitments in work I am looking to find someone to exercise my Exmoor pony for free. Will be a casual arrangement but i will be able to give decent notice of the times im away. Rider should be lightweight (im 5ft 6 and 9 stone so doesn't have to be small) and confident.

He is based in Brittas bay, the beach is a short hack away and there is a floodlight school. He is a fun nippy ride with no vices.

Hi all , I currently have my own youngster BUT am looking for more " Bum " time in the saddle before committing to buying my second horse. I am NOT a novice rider and looking to help exercise a horse in the Enniskerry area 1 to 2 days a week. Happy to groom etc before riding...
I love schooling & happy to help with any horse that needs bringing on with their flatwork.

Looking for someone to school my mare during the week as my working hours have changed and I don’t have as much time as I did. :( Ideally want decent flatwork and schooling done with her as this is what she is lacking in and what I have been trying to work on.

She is 7yo, 15.2hh ISH. She has a good temperament and is quick to learn but like a lot of mares she is very smart and can play up if she thinks she will get away with it! Not spooky and has never bucked/reared with me. She is capable of lovely paces and has a good jump but needs a confident, experienced rider to get the best out of her. I am working on building up her topline so would ideally like a rider that is fairly light so she can carry them easily (less than 11 stone.)

We are based in Kinsealy, Co. Dublin.

    NOT A NOVICE RIDE.
