    Roads like glass. A lot of the melt water is running across the roads..if thats freezes...:eek:

    Extremely icy out there, with a clear sky, temperatures will drop all night, going to be a treacherous drive in the morning with lots of Ice and Black Ice at that.

    Still 1.5 inches of snow lying on the grass, snow cover very patchy eleswhere but still remains on roads, pavemnets, roofs, etc.

    8th successive morning of lying snow.

    was this fog even forecasted for today?
    not complaining tho its lovely to look out at it while all around me is still coverd in snow, very wintery lookin today:)

    conditons around the side roads of dunshaughlin are not good... still some frozen ice patchs and slush on the ground as well as freezing fog

    Snow seems to be slowly sinking into itself, very very slow thaw.

    Slid and slithered down to Donegal Town early today; three inches of wet ice in many places.

    Came back the longer way to avoid the worst of the hills, to find worse still.

    Not thawing, as you say.

    In between, freezing fog.

    Suprise shower there, heavy enough rain 2.3C/0.7C wouldn't be suprised if its falling as snow a bit further inland

    Very icy-car door frozen stuck again.Though the air min was +0.4c

    lying snow is just 1 mile west of here now.
    Substantial cover is 4 miles west.

    We had a service for our last bit of lying snow here yesterday evening :P

    Fine quiet morning here, yesterdays wind and rain/sleet etc that was supposed to move across the south coast sure never reached me.
