    DP is up slightly, was -3.1 earlier, rose to -2.2 and is now falling again.

    Edit: I had to google DP last night, clicky was helpful.

    dp is dew point. It is a measure of moisture (or rather lack of it) in the air. Basically anything under 0C chances are you will have snow - go even slightly above that and your chances evaporate very quickly. Dew Points spectacularly low right now for Ireland due to dry continental air.

    -5, very heavy snow, huge amount accumulating. Got hit by a load of snow falling off my neighbours roof!! :D

    We are in to serious snow territory now with the heavier showers when they arrive.
