People seem not to realise what sleet is.

Sleet is wet snow not snow grains or graupel.

Sleet is wet and not dry grains.

    Kilkenny City outskirts

All the snow had gone, but in the last five minutes we have had enough to give everything a healthy white covering again. It was a very heavy snow shower, but it's nearly stopped again now.

    Temperature: 0.5 °C
    Dew Point: -0.6 °C

Light/moderate pure white fluffy dry snow floating down now, really beautiful.
    Current temp -1.2°C

Had brief heavy snow here in city centre - started to cover ground but then stopped and melted. Just need a bit longer-lasting heavy snow to get a good ground-covering.

Although being cold, today was one of the nicest, sunniest and brighest days down here in the kingdom for a long while. Only from around 4 pm did cloud start coming over. Also i was back in Dingle and it was pretty cold back there, for the first time i saw ice in the pools in the fields back there.

Another i thing a found that was funny, was the only bit of snow that was falling, was coming from the back of Dunnes Stores, from what i assume was the steam rising in the air and frezzing into little flakes of ice, it was pretty unusual.
