Getting dental work while ttc/pregnant?

    Hi,

my filling just fell out and I am in a bit of pain and getting greater. Problem is that we are ttc, though not actively this month. There is also a very small chance that I am pregnant but I can not tell as I just had a miscarriage and it may be just that my hormones are still active. Has anyone had a filling while ttc/pregnant? Oh, I am also petrified of dentists at the best of times.

At least get your dentist to look at it. Depending on the size of the cavity the dentist may fill it without an x-ray. At the very least if the dentist feels an x-ray is necessary he/she will be able to put in a temporary filling until you know whether you're pregnant or not.

There is no problem seeing the dentist
    while pregnant,
just tell him/her and they will take
    all the necessary precautions.
