got a piece of propaganda today

in support of CA Prop 16

    This proposition if passed
would require a 2/3 vote by the local populace
if a local government wanted to get involve in producing electricity.
This would make it difficult for populace to invest in alternative energy production.
This would leave to power of the utility in the hands of the private companies once again taking power and money from the people.

    NO ON PROP 16

I can't apply online because mine is a special case.
I had resigned because the manager intentionally made my job more and more difficult

I Called them up at 2 pm today
    I Spoke to a woman
She said the job was grass roots support to elect Juan Vargus
    to the California State Senate.

I done this kind of work before
I told her I would research the candidate and get back to her.

    The site http://www.votevargas.com/ was vague
So I researched his voting record
and found that Juan Vargus was a candidate I could support

I called back at 4 PM and a man answered
    I told him my name
and he told me all the positions had been filled.

    called Clairemont dental group

    they back billed me
for a procedure my dental insurance denied paying me
    the dental insurance said that
one of my tooth extractions was surgical and should be covered by medical insurance.

When I was at the dental office,
they had assured me that my insurance and my payment would cover expenses.
    Latter I received a bill $344.

I called and they informed me if I refuse to pay the bill,
they will send it to collections.

did you hear from employment offices?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,706 ✭✭✭Matt Holck

CAN SOMEONE EXPLAIN THIS TO ME?
You quit your last job with Ararmark Services,
inc because of a conflict with a Co-worker or Supervisor.

After considering available information, the Department finds that
you do not meet the legal requirements for payment of benefits.

    Section 1256 provides -
    an individual is disqualified
if the department finds he voluntarily quit his most recent work
    without good cause
or was discharged for misconduct from his most recent work.

    Section 1260A provides -
an individual disqualified under section 1256 is disqualified
until he/she, subsequent to the disqualify act,
preforms services in a bona fide employment
    for which he/she receive remuneration
equal to or in excess of five times his or her weekly amount.

    the last section confuses me

is it saying that I must have a job before I can be considered for unemployment?

I believe I had good cause to quit.
I had no confidence in my manager
due to his failure to keep his word
and his intention to create an atmosphere
    unhealthy to the work environment
by failing to respond in a reasonable manor to problems

    ======================================================

Good faith, or in Latin bona fides (bona fide means "in good faith"), [1]

remunerated - compensated: receiving or eligible for compensation; "salaried workers"; "a stipendiary magistrate" [2]

    I'm filing an appeal

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 44,501 ✭✭✭✭Deki

Sounds as if they mean to become qualified you would have to work and make at least five times your old salary and then be let go again before they would qualify you. I would appeal it too, nothing to lose. Hope you find a new job soon. (and me too:))

    I don't supposes it's up for discussion
so it doesn't belong on a forum

I was going to lament my lamititude
    I enjoy problem solving
    whether dish washer mechanical efficiency,
    understanding roads and traffic flow,
    writing concisely,
or computer automating an optics lab,

I find and solve the puzzles.

    calling westhost, on hold 9:51

website shut down due to non-payment

well, my website has been down all of December

i must pay for the month even though it was down

the accountant i spoke to seems to have no authority to readjust the charge

    transferring to sales ...

yep I'm on an old plan the new plan will be $6 a month with more space

westhost still insist I pay for the month my website wasn't claiming memory space when I know full well the available memory far exceeds the need for memory

the is just a vampiric excuse to get more money
