Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi All,
Do all test centres do the test or only certain ones? Also is it riding procedure tested (i.e. which foot down etc) or just actual riding skills or rules of the road?

They all do it but they don't all have 'resident' bike testers so those ones have bike testers come round on rotation for about 2 weeks at a time IIRC.

It's not like the UK test with all the foot down in the correct order rubbish. It's more about following the rules of the road and maintaining good road position and observation. It's not a difficult test and has a high pass rate (about 80% I believe but figures hard to come by). If you can ride a bike then one pretest with a decent instructor will get you through.

I dont think all the test centers are able to conduct bike tests - some of the areas dont have the required roads to do the 2 new maneouvers (hazard avoidance and emergency brake). I believe thats the reason my test got moved from raheny to finglas
