A lot of people out there are surprised as well apparently judging by the clubs social media pages. The club obviously rate him very highly though, and it's great to see him progressing. Hopefully his debut goes well.

Anybody know where we can we catch this game or even highlights?

Eir Sport show the games, used be a weekly highlights programme on TG4 but they dont have it anymore

Thanks, reports are that he struggled. Probably wasn't ready to be put in so early.

Useful move by Radio Kerry - uninterrupted hurling commentary on the website, with the FM station flicking back and forth between the various sports.

Two Shane Nolan goals in a minute give Kerry a 2-8 to 1-7 HT lead, also wind advantage for second 35 minutes. With Westmeath leading Meath 9-6 at HT also, not only would Kerry make the quarter-finals, but they would also win the group!

Still, at least they've avoided the Christy Rong for another year.

    Westmeath v Offaly
    Laois v Wexford

Collapsed yesterday in the second half after leading by four points at half time, when the second half started before you knew it we were down by six points and also down to fourteen men,

We were too predictable at times and once Laois copped that they shut us down and fully deserved to win the game,

The only good thing that happened yesterday was that we are not relegated to the Christy Ring Cup.

Do you mean that just the manager and 4 players turned up?

I think he means that the manager has picked more players from his own club to join the panel than he probably ought to.

Kilcummin a nice price to beat South Kerry today. Depending on how Bryan Sheehan is, if he's out then id expect SK to be heading out too

Sheehan was fit though, his importance to SK cant be underestimated, anytime he is out they look dodgy, as we saw in Strand Road the week before. That said, what has happened to Kilcummin? they should have put SK out 2 years ago in the first round and again in the replay and that was a far stronger sk team. Didnt they have a great crop of minors there about 3 or 4 years ago?
Crokes again to lose this year I think, cant see anyone coming near them

Went back to the Stacks Legion game, was pretty much over 2 minutes into the second half with Stacks leading 4-7 to 3 at one stage I think. Legion decided to throw caution to the wind then, they were abysmal in the first half and couldn't cope with Stacks runners from deep. Was very impressed with Jack Morgan, lightening quick.

Pretty surprising news that Brendan O'Sullivan failed a drug test after the 2016 League Final and served a suspension.

All was kept very quiet it seems. Doesn't specify what drug was taken but not what you want to hear reagardless.

Open to correction but apparently it was caffeine recovery gels that pretty much all players use.

In fairness, you wouldn't be far off if you saw what he was like in the two games he featured in this league campaign :D
