I never knew there was a Weather forum on Boards until today - noticed a post from there on the log-in page. There's a thread on there that began on the 28th January (THIS year):
    http://www.boards.ie/vbulletin/showpost.php?p=58795934&postcount=1
It now has 140 pages talking about the current weather conditions and the snow

That thread is not at all about running out of conversation - the snow IS the conversation: anticipating it, logging it, tracking it, reporting it and moaning any sign of its demise :D There have been 20 more PAGES added in the last 3 hours - up to 160 and counting.
With such an in-depth analysis and up-to-the-minute (literally) flake by flake account, who needs RTE or Met Eireann?

We found this yesterday too; the enthusiasm is contagious.

Well technically it's not me giving it, I'm hosting it. It's about Deaf History. Betcha you're not so interested in it anymore! :P
