Hello to you all!!

I've been heavily involved with the New Ross Music Collective the last couple of months organising all age events on the premises and some minor fundraisers. We are based in Barrack Lane which is a central location in New Ross, Co. Wexford.

We have a recording studio, rehearsal room and performance space available to the public and we are currently offering the facilities at very cost effective rates starting from €10 FOR 3 HOUR SLOTS.

All equipment is on site and is already included in the price. For bands that book the rehersal space, their guitarists have a choice of multiple stacks and smaller amps, and there is a fully skinned and tuned drum kit and powerful bass stack on site. A PA is also provided with three mikes along with a Behringer 8-channel mixing desk. Members can bring their own equipment if they prefer but there are also guitars and a bass available for use.

You may be short some band members!? There have been plenty of people that come in to us that are in the same situation and have joined up with other bands and played at some of our events since they started....JUST BE AWARE OF THIS!!!!

UPCOMING EVENT!!!

A collection of young bands who use our rehearsal/recording space will be hosting an ALL AGES EVENT on the Community Developmet Project premises in Barrack Lane, New Ross on Saturday 7th February, 2009.

For anyone who comes along, there will also be a chance to see what we offer the public as regards facilities and gain some knowledge on what the Music Collective has been doing and aims to do in the future.

There will be free pool and internet available to everybody. Tea, coffee and refreshments at no extra cost will be on hand also.
