Seeing as "Follow me up to Carlow" is really a Wicklow song, what would you like to see as the Carlow "anthem". I know some local radio station, must have been KCLR had a competition and this was turned down

Nice tune, but can't see it doing the terraces at Dr Cullen.

    Suggestions?

But wasn't it all Carlow then anyhow? Wicklow was the last county to be created in Ireland as far as I know and all south "Wicklow" was Carlow right over to the coast back then.

I think the idea of having a competition negates the idea of having a song that means something to locals. Its probably too late for all of us to take a particular song and associate it with Carlow. But maybe teaching a certain song at school level will ensure the next generation have a song to sing in Dr Cullen!
