Am I entitled to a medicare card

I am on a four year business visa (457 I think, I dont have my passport handy).

The best thing is probably to ring. I had to ring them to check somethig and they were pretty helpful.

I'd be interested to know what the answer is.

People from ROI are entitled to emergency cover such as if we need emergency care at A&E.

Up north of Ireland, they are entitled to full medicare benefits. as are a number of other countries but not ROI.

No. When you are doing your end of year tax, make sure you fill out a medicare levy exemption form so you can claim back the levy if you have been paying it.
