    Ahhh i think its so cute planning your first night together.
    Honestly keep it simple like so many have said here. It would be handy to know his fave colour so if its red you could get nice red underwear and that would be that bit more attractive to him. But honestly he'll be so delighted with himself just to be with you and the oils are defo OTT !!!!
    Leave those for a few weeks time yenno....enjoy !!

    I sometimes match the underwear to the clothes I'm wearing so if my dress is purple my underwear might be purple too. I doubt men even notice though.

    OP you really need to calm down about this. Your expectations of the night are way too high. I would recommend fairly simple black underwear, maybe a bit lacy and the hold up stockings. Brazillian or hollywood bikini wax, french manicure, very little make-up (tinted moisturiser, mascara, lip gloss) and no orange fake tan (It's snowing outside!)


    Daytime outfit maybe a floral print tea dress with black tights (or the hold-ups;)), short black jacket over it.

    Skip the La Senza thing, I'm sure you own plenty of nice underwear without needing to spend loads. I always stock up in La Senza and other lingere shop sales.

    The champagne could be nice but it depends on the guy too, he could be intimidated by all the fuss.

    That goes both ways. I really hope you do some trimming/grooming yourself, Chief, I'd hate to think you a hypocrite.

    OP, it's great that you're all excited about your first time with this guy, but like everyone says... don't go TOO overboard, it's too much pressure. You're heaping all these frills and expectations on the evening, there's lingerie and candles and champagne... when really it should be about him and you and that's all. By all means, wear something that makes you feel super-sexy, it's so important to feel desirable... but remember that the night is about discovering eachother and not all the frills.

    Theres no point in dressing like a bunnygirl or hooker if it will make you feel uncomfortable on your first night with someone. Whatever you wear it needs to be something that makes YOU feel sexy and pretty. If the whole Ann Summers shebang does that for you, waaayheey have a good time, but if youll feel like a trussed up turkey, then pull it back a bit. It will only increase any nerves you have.

    Id love to think that a first night of lust would be everything you see in the movies, but youve got to keep a practical head about it. The earth may not move, it may not all fall into place automatically. The best thing about a night like that is to go into it with the right attitude. Youll have a good time, anyway, and do your best to give your partner a good time to, but ultimately relax about it being all fireworks and thunderclaps. The first time can be fumbly and awkward.

    And on a practical level... for a first night... bring lube. Youll be glad you did. :)
