Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Bike broken!

    Hi,

Coming into work today, good few puddles about - after going ( slowly ) through one of them, the bike would not go into gear.

The engine was still running, and the bike was revving but despite going up and down the gears it wouldn't catch.

Would it be water damage that needs to drain off or should I call out the experts?

    Thanks in advance,

    Paul

Doesn't sound like its water related, the first thing that water normally does is kill the engine, but yours is running. Is the gear lever turning the shaft, its not just loose and not gripping?

    Hi,

Yeah it's turning fine, and revving, just doesnt seem to be catching the gears.

    Thanks
