    Damn sore it was too.
    I was with a bunch of mates at the time and the name stuck.


    There's a picture of this guy on every door.

    Seriously though, Jacobin/Jacobites (pronounced Jack-oh-bites) were the Catholic forces from Ireland which fought with King James II and V, the last Catholic King of England, against William of Orange in an attempt to return King James to the thrown. They were defeated at the Battle of the Boyne in 1690.

    I thought it was fitting at the time.

    Was here since 2004 but my username was lost when boards got hacked one December, remember that?

    Got this one from a PI thread when I went there crying over my Stalin of a boss one night :( Makes Gordon Ramsey look like a pussy

    So I was told to stick with this username by the powers by be on boards.ie

    And I hate my username and people make assumptions over it. Gonna subscribe and get it changed

    mine isn't exactly amazing, sitting there coming up with usernames, all taken, next one was...

    oddly enough many people don't seem to get it though :confused: and think i'm calling myself stupid.
