Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Game very much in the balance at half time. West Ham have come out to play and look capable of passing the ball and threatening. At the same time though, Utd have seen a fair amount of space and the ball - which means they have the ability to score in a heartbeat...

Interesting to see what will happen in the second half

Well then as Keane said its a stupid comment because nobody has scored against us !

Can't remember West Ham playing this well in ages. Zola's done a great job. No nerves showing at all. Calm and collected on the ball and imo look the more likely to score. United have had chances and as always I see them nicking it but West ham have them on the back foot. C'MON THE HAMMERS!

As a very biased Hammers fan, I have enjoyed this game.

Tevez, Berbatov and Ronaldo look class, and are capable of anything. That young FullBack is a clear replacement for Neville. He is a forward thinker and defensively strong.

Haveing said that, the "second strongest permiership centerback partnership" of Collins and Upson look fantastic, as does the entire Hammers midfield.

I realised that I am bisased, but I could see a goal from either team. United have the quality, but the Hammers have broken the United defence on three occasions

Ah, the Wes Brown thing was a little joke in the Sky commentary.

If nothing else, Carlton Cole is a physical specimen.

West Ham have started this half very well

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

West Ham go close through Neill. They have forced some good situations in and around the Utd box but, so far, don't seem to have the necessary cutting edge to capitalize.

    Is Park on the bench?

I think this one is finely balanced gentlemen - either team could nick it.

Also I love Scott Parkers hair!! Jumpers for Goalposts! In for the tea, possibly baked beans but don't quote me on it.

how the hell was Vidic not booked there?

Edit: at least not straight away!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,407 ✭✭✭✭LuckyLloyd

Wow, Cole did fantastic there - it would have been utterly fantastic if he could have released it either side before he was dragged down.

Have to say, agree with Andy Gray for once - should have been a booking surely?

    EDIT: there it is!

What is Dowd at, why take so long for such an obvious booking?
