Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Continues his record of scoring in every premier league season I believe?

Cake, and grief counseling, will be available at the conclusion of the test

To be fair it was more about bad defending than good attacking

    Amazing goal, vintage Giggs.

    Shot down by the Beeb.........

There has been a bit of confusion over Edwin van der Sar's record. The run by Chris Woods at Rangers - 1,196 minutes during the 1986-87 season - included all competitions and Van der Sar did actually concede during the Fifa Club World Cup. So as things stood at half-time, by our reckoning Van der Sar had gone 1,167 minutes without conceding in the league, but in all competitions he is "only" 855 minutes without being beaten

Shocking defending. Overall our attacking play has been poor, in large part due to Giggs. But he's made up for it with that sweet finish.

Even more abuse from the Beeb

(see 1650) "Uefa's website suggests Danny Verlinden for Club Brugge holds the record of 1,390 minutes in 1990."

He's having a good season for West Ham, 8 goals and 5 assists in the PL and he's giving us a hard time right now.

Welbeck might be worth 10 mins

Rafael has had a good half...he really looks a fantastic prospect.,,

Behrami has been very good imo

I don't get all this record talk. We were scored against by Derby and Spurs but the British record being spoken of is for ALL competitions, so he's not going for that record then obviously.

Jebus! Savio has been muck since he came on...

I'd like to see Nani, Welbeck and Fabio come on for Giggs, Tevez and O'Shea. But I want the 3 points much more ;) If we were 2 up, maybe.

Didnt VDS play, and lose a goal in the World Clubs Championships as well?

Records are there to be broken, but VDS in my opinion hasnt touched Woods record yet.
Not to mention Woods done it in consecutive games, he played in every game available to him...VDS hasnt.

I don't think he was playing in those games. Open to correction though, wasn't arsed looking it up.

It has already been pointed out that he has conceeded in the world club competition in december though.

And Fabio has always been regarded as the better of the two. But that was back in Brazil, he's supposed to have a more Brazilian style of play compared to Raf so he might not be as suited to EPL. We'll have to wait and see. :)
