Adding RAM to Dell Dimension 2400

I want to add RAM to my Dell Dimension 2400. It already has 512mb. Would it be better to add 1gb, and remove the old RAM, or stick 512mb in with the old one? It has two slots, btw. Thanks for any help.

Seeing as you have two slots, fill the both of them?,
Leave the 512MB stick in, and grab another 1GB
its a 845chipset, so u shouldnt have any probs upgrading up to 2GBs

generally a great price from memoryc, and they in celbridge afaik

Ive used GSkill NT in old dells plenty of times and never any problems mixin it with the ram supplied from dell
