Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Some nice blogs there guys!

I'd love to stay more active on mine but I generally only post images when I can spew a little drole about the shots themselves.

    Mine is here: http://paulwilsonphotography.wordpress.com/

I have a photo blog at www.feargalnorton.com, I keep my blog updated with daily photos to keep me out there looking for shots and to keep up a good catalogue of my old ones. I find that this is a good way to keep pressure on myself to keep working on my photography by coming up with a different shot every day, and it's also a good way to display my work while I work on creating on a more proffessional website for my photography.

I've just finished putting this together for someone, i have another 2 websites to do for 2 different photographers, some very interesting blogs and sites out there already.

Only starting out with an interest in photography myself, i've read about 30 threads and picked up some very useful information but i suppose eventually i'll need to get some training - some of the words I'm reading are scary :D

I actually don't like photoblog... I prefer to look at the best pictures on website galleries.

I like blogs that talk about their view, their images, their work process, their inspirations, etc...

My photo blogs are on Blogspot... photographedublin and Shortsights.

However, the more wordy blog, Moderntwist2 has been filling up with images recently.

I quite like wordpress, once I'd played with a few themes and plugins.

I'm doing a photographic record of a prolonged trip my wife and I are on at www.moglander.com and it's working out ok. My biggest complaint is having to most of the work on-line rather than pre-cooking the posts and then hitting the button.

ive just started doing a wordpress site, dont know if its a blog because i dont write much, ive never been much of a diary writer or note taker so im trying hard, and trying to stop using facebook so much but i dont really have a plan of action, it will do until i can afford to set up my own website anyway.

Started a couple of blogs, one focussing on photgraphy at CraigDoesPhotography.blogspot.com. Not much in it yet, besides some stuff on the technical/gear side of things, but I hope to start making videos of Lightroom edits as well as posting about new things I'm trying (like film) (:

Because people often ask about my gear instead of my work, I wrote about it in my blog today:

Not much in the way of blog content there yet, but I have a lot of stuff in the pipeline :)

Hey Ive been bloging little over a year, I had a different blog but I wasn't happy with it so I removed it and started again.

My blog is in my sig below,
I haven't updated it in a while Simply I've been growing more and more impatient with take pictures of beaches and sunsets, So i decided to stop.

and reinvent were Im going, tho i have been using instagram not to be cool or hip but because i think its a good way of training my brain for a fresher approach to things and I find it kinda fun :) here my instagrid

But i think photobloging is worth it... I prefer it to flicker tho I've always misunderstood why people show pf more then one picture at a time.. the idea of showing one picture lets you concentrate on it and then come up with something good to say about it...

It is not exactly a photoblog or a blog but a videoblog.

Contain nude. Nothing obscene or sexually appealing but not recommended to watch in your workplace. :)

Here's my own blog, mainly live music / band stuff etc. Lots of my shots never get seen as one or two might only be used, so I decided to start this just to get the 'outakes' into cyberspace!

http://www.thetogblogs.blogspot.ie that's mine, its more about me just learning photography and passing the tips i pick up on really, but i enjoy it!

Some nice shots of TSRoses but you've an awful lot of photos of them. Did you consider cutting the amount and only showing the best ones?

Hi, last night I just threw up the main gallery that went up after the gig through lack of sleep TBH! Normally I do a good edit and take out anything that I feel repeats itself, which I have just done. Galleries from festivals tend to be bigger but that usually has about 2-3 shots from each act.

There can be a mania for quantity over quality aswell I feel, all about getting more traffic etc. But a nice small gallery is fine by me, especially on a blog. I am trying to get a balance so people can see the extras but also as you say, what I feel are the best ones.

I may have posted ages ago but anyway...

http://www.photoblog.ie is my website and http://www.photoblog.ie/blog is the blog section.

I post up anything and everything, no one main theme.

Can i just say, your blog is really really brilliant! I mean i feel ashamed how crap mine is compared to yours, not just aesthetics, how you name your photos, descriptions of them, and all put together so very well. After getting some hosting recently and spending a lot of time setting it up, i think i am going to follow by your style ( i don't mean copy, just learn from it ) and try to bring everything under one site. Must have taken you a long time to set up?

    Cheers,

    Paraic.

Thanks a million for the comments! This used to be my blog, very basic. I decided to beef it up a bit, add more pages and also option to sell images (sell virtually nothing but nice to have the function there just in case).

My current site uses a template, bought from Themeforest for about €30. Took a bit of time to set up/customize but was farily easy and there's full support for any questions. Highly recommended. Both are on wordpress so I didn't have to re-opload images.

I like the novelty of giving each blog post a related music title. It's just a bit of fun for me; I love music and photography and decided to link them. It also makes my blog stand out a little bit. I e-mail/tweet the odd artist notifying them of using their song title/lyrics as my post and some have replied. :-)

    Ta,
    Pa.
