Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Zola > Bergkamp > Cantona > Fowler

i think his joke may have been that Zola was not in fact larger then the others, as the mathematical symbol would suggest...

Out of those 4 I think Bergkamp was the greatest player.

But lol at the person who said Fowler would not be fit to lace Cantona's boots! What age are you? Perhaps you only saw the Fowler of Leeds and Man City (admittedly still a decent player) He was the deadliest striker in the Premiership in the mid-90s, Alan Shearer aside.

Kind of interesting that of all these undoubtedly great players it was only Bergkamp that really did much of note at international level. Off-topic but anyway...

Sorry to all for going little of topic,

But regards to this post im 26 for your interest. You do know why Cantona never played at interantional level right?

I did see Fowler in fact saw him in flesh once in 1995. A good player no question but imo not as good as above mentioned.

Former Liverpool striker Robbie Fowler will play for A-League club Perth Glory from next season.
The 35-year-old will be Perth's foreign marquee player, which means his wages are excluded from their salary cap.
"It's exciting for football fans in Western Australia that a legend has decided to play for us," said Perth chairman Tony Sage.
Fowler was released from his contract with cash-strapped North Queensland Fury after one season in Townsville.

$800,000 isn't too shabby for a season at his age.

Perth Glory and North Queensland Fury are actually a class names for football clubs. :)
