Back on the road: the Citroën DS

Citroen are to relaunch the DS this week - presumable in the mode of the new Mini, Beetle, Fiat 500

Given the state of the world today they might be better relaunching the 2CV :-)

Stupid idea, the whole point of the DS was its unique enginering and design ethos. The idea that peeps will fall for an expensive big Cit in the 21st century is laughable as well.

The new models DS3, DS4 and DS5 expected to be no more than luxury versions of the C3, C4 and C5. Pull the other one, Citroen...

Austin pulled something similar back in the 70ies with the "Vanden Plas" title.

Not only from looking at that piece of sh1te car but that title has always irritated me too. The dude was called "van den Plas" and not "Vanden Plas"
