    Where is the cheapest place in the North West to Buy 2 Tonne of Fertilizer delivered or collected???

    Im based in the midlands so i cant help you out there.

    Has anyone any idea of the general run of prices for the coming year?

    I heard a few stories at the weekend aboout some lads getting it in from the north....

    Murray's or Glancy's in Elphin tend to sell fertilizer €10 a ton cheaper than any of the co-ops around, but they might think it hard to deliver to you if you are very far from Elphin if you are only takin 2 ton.

    There have been a lot of prices published in farming papers about the price of urea having dropped - especially in the North. Like last year, we plan to buy 8 ton of urea and just 2 ton of 18-6-12. Teagasc recommend making the most of your slurry and just topping it off with urea - its the cheapest way to grow grass.
