Would teachers get them? Seeing as they can show how much they will be earning on a pay scale 10 years down the line...etc..

Put simply - if you get one now you will be paying back more than your property will be worth. Whether you can get them or not should not even be a question!

aib give 100% in certain circumstances but at the moment its very rare. the only people getting them are legal/medical professionals or others who command very large salarys and who are not overextended with other investments. 92% is the max your likely to get at the moment and you would be doing well to get that given the current rate of declines.
