Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

The old ruin and graveyard where the Romanesque doorway is, Here. It is just up the road from Killeshin church.

Is it not up near Killeshin?

Is it not up near Killeshin?

You just go up the hill to the old graveyard and church ruins on the right. Climb the two gates into the field cross a bridge turn right you will see a small gate over near the trees and its down the hill to the right

When I said "is not up near" I meant it's up near, in the Irish sense! Killeshin gets a bit ignored, the mass rock and reservoir walk seem to be almost unknown.

I am lucky to have a house just a few fields away from the castle. My house may have been a house for workers of the ducketts land many years ago.

Stumbled across this gallery on imgur earlier today and appears that they done some exploring around what they call the sugar factory but to me looks more like the old Erin Foods Cannery building..

I went for the Loop Walk in Rathanna . Its hard to believe this is County Carlow . We went into Osbournes Pub for a Cup of the finest coffee. He brings in the Coffey from abroad and has an Italian Coffey machine . It opens at 2.30 on a Saturday and Sunday but I think opens at 7Pm on a Weekday .
There are newborn lambs in the fields .
