Using Cabbage abroad

    Hi,
    Just wondering if anyone has any experience using cabbagetexter on Meteor abroad? If so, roughly how much does it cost per text?

    it doesn't work everywhere but it should cost about the same, maybe a cent or two more

    yes it will. It's really only in far flung places it won't work. I think someone said they had problems with gprs in thailand

    I've tried it in quite a few european countries(not spain tho) and it works fine. Great program! :-)

    It won't work with a Meteor SIM in countries where Meteor doesn't have a data roaming agreement with a local network. e.g. Greece when I was there in October.

    There's a good chance it would work with a local SIM though, unless they give restricted interweb access only.
