Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Cancelling Xbox Live Problems

    Guys, I'm trying to cancel my Xbox live account. Now I know you can only ring to do this, and have been doing so today, but it isn't working. Has anyone come across this before - basically when I get to the options and click 1 for Xbox Live it doesn't seem to recognise this, so I have to sit online waiting to eventually get through to a representative. When I finally get through to one, they can't hear me. This has happened a few times today, in the office, using a few different calls (all have been used today to make other calls with no problem). Has anyone else ever come across this?

    The cynic in me feels like this is another obstacle the great Microsoft has put in the way of users cancelling their subscription!

    I doubt thats the case, would be easier for someone to answer the call and convince you to stay with with live lol.

    I found there was very little hastle when i asked them to cancel mine.

    I suspect a problem with the phone system there , give them a try today.

    You don't have 2 ring to cancel your xbox live account anymore, only if you are requesting a refund.

    1. Go to www.xbox.com
    2. at the top left hand side of the screen click international and select Ireland
    3. Sign in. (if you sign into hotmail first and use the same email address you will automatically sign in)
    4. on the drop down menu by my xbox (top right hand side) select my account
    5. in the screen that opens select membership level on the left hand side of the screen
    6. here you can turn off automatic renewal, so when the remainder of the month is up you will no longer be charged.
