Didn't God sell out his son to the Jews?

I think that makes everything that happened since just dandy.

You have to be cool to be a sellout. That's why U2 can never be sellouts.

What about Dennis Hopper doing ford ads? The only way it's acceptable is when they have no money

How dare you say that about the man, the myth, the legend that is Bob Marley. He's a hero to stoners everywhere. Without him they wouldn't be able to talk about that time they had some Jamaican chronic.

That Iggy Pop ad does my nut in. I don't want to see some leathery auld feck screaming nonsense before an episode of 'Futurama'- What the fup is he on about, anyway?

"Just time to ride, just time to ride!"

Yeah, I usually hate the term 'sell-out' ( like when people say a band are sell-outs for moving to a bigger record label) but it's highly applicable in this case.

Kings of Leon. They have basically sold their soul on the last two albums they created.

Rita Marley sold her late husband out by selling the rights to the song "Jammin'" and pi**ed off Bob Marley fans the world over.

While, of course, he treated her like an absolute queen and never sold his precious wife down the river at all.

It's up to you whether the following people were ever "cool" or not.

    Mike Skinner.

KanYe West sold out in the form of a singe entitled "Brand New".

Rita Marley sold her late husband out by selling the rights to the song "Jammin'" and pi**ed off Bob Marley fans the world over.

Oh, and how much did Che Guevara make from all those badges/posters, eh?

Somewhere in the total of nothing.

Don't hold musicians to a higher standard than anyone else. Just because they are talented doesn't mean they aren't as greedy as everyone else.

    Also, this is great:

Couldn't agree more, I was a big fan of them in 2003.

But now, I turn the radio off when their songs come on. It's almost like they followed a set formula to change their sound into "charty" music.
