Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Where has all the strong white flour gone?

The usual suspects seem to have stopped stocking strong white flour, Tescos, Superquinn, Centra all seem to have reduced the variety and quantities of flour that they are stocking.

Does anybody know of any last outpost stocking strong white flour of is it time to try and find a still open health food shop and buy expensive allegedly organic flour?

I haven't had any problem getting it in the supermarkets around where I live (Swords in Dublin).
Wasn't there a problem with the wheat harvest last year because of the bad weather? Maybe it's in short supply.

I'm afraid that I've had to resort to the health food shop route also...

Fallon&Byrne's is the only place I know of that still stocks the strong white flour for bread machines (which is the highest-protein white flour available).

Every time I go into Tesco or Superquinn to get it, it's always sold out. This has happened to me about 6 times! There is a big empty hole on the shelf where it should be.

Right - which one of you has been buying up all of the strong white flour?
