Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I've just added some hardware in my PC, and now when i go into Control Panel
the system freezes or the Control Panel crashes.

    Then i get a BSOD with a 0x0000008e KERNEL_MODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED_M
error. When i restart i get, windows has recovered from a severe problem.

I removed the new hardware, but this still happens.

Does anybody know why this is, can i fix it without doing a clean install?

    Thanx in advance.

    Caleb.

    Search for *.cpl files
(make sure explorer is set to display file endings and all kinds of files)

When using search select advanced and system.
ignore ones in \i386 and various $NTServicePackUinstall$

The ones to check first are in \windows\System32

rename ONE at a time to <blah>.cpl.bad
where <blah>.cpl you think is the new one

    Open control panel

If it doesn't crash you have found it.
If it does crash rename file back and change next one.

Control panel runs all .cpl files, they are special executables. Each icon in Control panel may have an associated .cpl
