Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi,

I'm currently putting together a ZenCart site for the company i work for, the problem is the navigation tool bar is displaying perfectly in firefox but all over the place in IE. I've asked on the ZenCart forums, but haven't gotten much help.

    Any sugestions would be fantastic.

Looks fine in IE6 and IE7 bar the javascript error:-

    "Access is denied to http://www.surveysalesandhire.ie/ZenCart/cssHover.htc"

As a develepor I have IE set to tell me about script errors with a pop-up so it won't be noticable to the average user but maybe it's part of the problem.

Looks alright to me in IE7 but Musician is right about that error - easy one to fix and you should fix it for your SEO anyway. The problem is that your site is accessible from both http://servername.ie and http://www.servername.ie. The page posted there is via the http://servername.ie version and so it can't access scripts on another subdomain in IE (http://www.servername.ie)

You can resolve this in your .htaccess file forcing all requests to take the http://www.servername.ie route.

It looks fine to me in IE7. Can you define "all over the place" and possibly also post a screenshot?

    Hey folks,

Sorry about the delay in me getting back to you lot! I didn't realise till just now that im actually using IE 8 Beta, and its showing up oddly in that. I had a look at the site in the other versions of IE and like you all said, it looks fine. So thanks in that respect.

In regards to the error, its something i've been trying to fix but i'm having no luck. I read about the .htaccess fix, but i can't find that file (i think it might be an apache thing? from what i read). Should i ring our hosting company, and ask them?

Thanks again for your help lads.
