So I was seriously considering changing my primary AEG to an M14 but I have a few questions:

How easy are they to get midcaps for?

Will the mags fit into M4 mag pouches?

How big a battery should be used?

Anything you can tell me is appreciated, thanks :D

    They're quite heavy.

Which i loved, but many people found them too heavy to skirmish with.
    Get a good quality sling.

If you don't you'll get cramps in places you didn't know you could.

I'm quite fond of heavy AEGs (I've spent a good bit of time with a SAW) so that isn't really a problem ;)

As for the mags, you will fit one m14 mag into a m4 double pouch

I was thinking these, what's the shipping like from Ehobby?

Also, does anyone know if they would work with the ASG M14?

King arms magazines are usually crap...however the king arms g3 mags are getting great reviews all round, i advise spraying a bit of silicone in them before use...all shipping from china seems to have slowed down so you will be waiting a while

Does anyone know if the ASG M14 takes G&P midcaps?

Is the ASG version a rebranded AGM? Always wanted an M14 but AGMs seem to kill themselves quickly.

Only other option for me is the TM version which seems to be one of the best TMs around...

I have the ASG m14 and i love it! Scopes are pretty easy to get. I got one on ebay from the ebay store problot2. 50 euro with a rail mount, delivered. only took a week to ship it and its simple to put on. crosshairs are illuminated too.

They look to be the same size and shape as the hi cap that comes with it so I'd say you would be fine with them.
